Based on stakeholder input, the study footprint has been expanded to include much of the WestConnect members from Nevada, New Mexico and Arizona to Colorado and Wyoming.

The “final study footprint” includes the following control areas:

  • Arizona Public Service
  • El Paso Electric Co.
  • Nevada Power Co.
  • Public Service Co. of New Mexico
  • Salt River Project
  • Sierra Pacific Power
  • Tri-State Generation and Transmission
  • Tucson Electric Power Co.
  • Xcel Energy
  • Western Area Power Administration (Rocky Mountain and Desert Southwest Regions)
